There are no classes for little yoga ninjas, but here is a gentle bedtime yoga routine for them. It is a fun way to settle little ones for a lovely night's sleep. Follow the stages to unwind and relax. You don't have to pretend you're a pig, but it might be fun!
Stand firm and strong like a mountain, hooves firmly on the floor.
Arms overhead, sway like a tree from side to side
Lift one hoof off the floor and place low on the inside of your standing leg. Use your piggy arms for balance.
Lean forward and flop your front hooves down. Relax and come down to all fours.
Round your back and bring your tail and snout low. Then drop your tummy button to the floor and bring your tail and snout high.
Lift your piggy tail high and drop your snout low to the floor. Peep through your back legs.
Sit cross legged and quiet. You could close your eyes and remember something lovely about your day.
Curl up like a little piglet and hug your snout to your knees. Place your front hooves by your back hooves and relax.
Climb quietly into bed, tired little piggy, and snuggle your duvet up to your snout.
